I first got into powerlifting back in 2016. At the time, I needed something that would get me away from the endless cycle of cardio machines and toxic diet culture.
I quickly fell in love with the sport, not only because of the challenge but because of the way it made me feel. There’s something empowering about getting stronger, and the best part was seeing how it translated into my everyday life.
As a mum of two, I can honestly say that my strength is a game changer. It’s not just about lifting heavy weights, it’s about lifting the kids, managing multiple routines and responsibilities, and feeling like I can tackle whatever life throws at me.
After 18 months of training, I knew I wanted to do more. So, I decided to take my passion further and get my personal training qualifications. By 2018, I was coaching, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I absolutely love helping others discover the power of strength training and how it can positively impact their lives, both physically and mentally.
I’ve worked with clients at all experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned lifters. I’m especially passionate about supporting women, and in particular helping mums through different stages of their fertility journeys. With my pregnancy and postpartum athleticism certification, I’m able to help mums safely navigate exercise during pregnancy and return to training postpartum.
